Will be in Houston this weekend. Not sure if I will be yelling "AHHHHHHHHHH" or not as I think Reliant will absorb all sound. "Lets Go Duke" will be heard many times.

For those of you not familiar with my history, I played in the Duke band while in law school. Guaranteed (free) front row seats. 15-20 home games for 3 years, not counting 1/2 of the women's home games for those 3 years. Alas, I've only been to 2 since I graduated.

Not going to Houston because I am convinced I am a curse. Final four the year before I get there, but my 3 years were the worst in the last 25 years, and I watched them lose in Austin in the regional final (or was it sweet sixteen?) and at the Final Four in San Antonio.

On the bright side, I did see Jeff Capel make that shot to send it to double overtime against UNC live and in person. Too bad we ended up losing. Greatest game I've ever been to, and probably will ever go to.

You think you are a curse?

I was there in 1994, 1999 and 2004!

Still going. Trying to break the curse.

was in Austin as well. Stuck around and watched Kentucky-Michigan St on Sunday, which, despite sucking b/c Duke was eliminated, was a heck of a college basketball game.
