connor can now get out there and start recruiting for us. be the voice of SMU to some of his fellow california HS'ers.

It is an NCAA violation, just as supporters can not contact recruits, nor can a committed athlete.

He may not be able to contact a recruit, but he can spend plenty of time talking about how great SMU is and how excited he is to play football there. If someone happens to overhear him, that's not his fault.
