That's John Moores, not John O'Quinn, and it was a lot more than 25mil.
Correct, John Moores was a big donor to UH sports. Probably won't be happening in the future. He is in the process of a nasty divorce and as a result has sold most of his interest in the San Diego Padres. He won't exactly be poor but will probably watch his money a little closer.
