A lot of times I went to sell my books back at the end of the semester, and they were still in shrink wrap--sometimes they were still in the bag from the bookstore.
Too bad yall stink at football, otherwise this could have come in useful

Truly amazing when you consider how hard it is to NOT make grades as an athlete. Are there not "academic advisor" people whose sole job it is to help these kids pass.

I was supposed to walk-on, but Rossley wanted to move me to linebacker. With my 5.2 speed, I decided it wasn't worth my time.

When I attended SMU I knew one of these 'advisors'. She did their homework, wrote essays and when possible, took their exams for them as well.
She use to tell me, "none of my players will ever fail".
I suspect this goes on at most universities, but not today at SMU. Once again, a competitive disadvantage we place ourselves in.
I am not condoning what the advisor told me, but I suspect that is how most schools roll.

There are plenty of easy [deleted] classes. Intro to engineering, Shakespeare, art of music, psychology, astronomy, nutrition
I made great grades in all of those and only went first day, mid-term and final
and yet still, no kate for you?
She must have very high standards.
I will never figure her out.
I need Stallions guide to Hoochie Mommas

If Scout it reporting this, it's too bad...
We knew of this possibility some time ago, but were specifically asked not to post anything about it. The one downside about being true blue Mustang supporters is that we do try to comply with requests from the Athletics Department.

I have no idea. I just hope it's not him.
(Of course, I'd hope it's none of them.)

According to Coach Jones, TCU has added 22 people to it's academic assistance staff. SMU needs to do the same. We do not have to cheat and it is ultimately not in the best interest of our athletes to cheat on their grades and classes. All it takes is the Coach insisting on the athlete asking for academic help and tutors who not only can teach the subject matter, but can help the athlete overcome that "I am too dumb" attitude. It is part of committing to being successful.

Between the KT situation and several others, it's very apparent that Josh just doesn't get it.

Hmmmm. With all of the players we are losing perhaps the Sunbelt Conference doesn't look so bad after all. Could we be back to 1 or 2 wins this year????
GO PONIES!!!

I thought going to class was part of the 3 strikes rule he has.
