You need to go down on The Drag, have a salvation sandwich, sit cross-legged in front of the Co-op and r-e-l-a-x.

davidpaul123 wrote:interesting that the plans seem to have seriously shifted from the original deisgn with dormitorys and whatnot. I guess they didnt know everything they needed to about the ground water contamination.

Its prolly a better solution to keep the dorms on this side of the street.

it would be upperclassmen(soph) dorms so being on the otherside of mockingbird isnt as big a deal...but the ground water issue gets me thinking.

its not like they keep the students in the dark about this stuff or anything.

i remember being asked ONCE about feedback on a proposition that we not only did not get to see but was explained to us by the director of greek life who couldnt have done a worse job communicating the hopes and goals for the project in that area.

the other story we were told(i say story because what we are told rarely amounts to squat) was that soph housing could potentially be built where the houses are behind the bookstore there on mockingbird...i wont believe anything i hear until i see it done.

You're definitely a whiner. Go find out what it is you want to know or shut your word hole. You are fed the information "they" want you to hear - that is the way it has always been. Deal with it. If you are looking for transparency, you're living in a dream world.

what i am trying to relate is that I am fed up with the BS that students are fed.

I can see you enjoy the sand you have stuck your head in.

ironically your reply is essentially paraphrasing what I already asserted, that the admin isn't being up front about their plans. The difference in what I posted is that what I am getting too, and it's that i don't like being asked to spend my time giving input into something that isn't real or that won't be considered.

I'm calling out the processes as bunk.

If you don't like that, shove it.

Do you read? His head is not stuck in the sand. He is saying that students will NEVER get anything but BS, and if you want real info, you have to go find it yourself.

Student opinions don't really matter anyway. By the time they build this all of the current students will have graduated.

Im not asking for someone to feed me anything, like i said, i dont like having my time wasted with people pretending that my input counts.

Wow. Okay. If that's the way you feel, then you've essentially guaranteed that any input that you think might be worth contributing most definitely and emphatically WON'T count. If you're cool with that, fine. Just be aware you'll be wasting time complaining about the outcome.

Housing will be located behind shopping center and parking garage built. It is pretty simple.
