That's a big spread. Not surprising, TCU is favored to run the table again this year. Losing Hughes is a big loss for the Frogs, but they are allegedly improved on offense over last year's team and their defense while losing four starters apparently is nearly as good as last year and they'll have a few games under their belt when they meet us. I think that Padron will be more composed in the pocket than last year's QB and will definitely be improved against them. I still think, we may be their toughest match-up. Patterson will grind it out against us, and air it out when we bite on the run. Our line will have to play its best game of the year and Padon will have to throw away some passes. If we can avoid turnovers, it will be a very good game.

Even with REALLY REALLY bad qb play from our side and getting robbed on Dalton's fumble, you all were only up 18-7 on us close to the end of the 3rd quarter. Our two deep is almost entirely intact and we were largely a bunch of sophomores and freshman last year. No way TCU wins by 18.

I am not a believer in Dalton...TCU will be very good, but he is the Kyle Orton of NCAA...steady, but can't win the game for you...

Give Padron another year and I will take Padron...

The 2010 schedule for TCU is rather tame with a season opener at home against Oregon State and a road trip to SMU and Utah as the only real dangers.

Fear the Mustangs

Of course. We'll be playing #22 Oregon State and #24 Utah in their house. But the toughest match-up for #6 TCU will be unranked SMU.

I think that single vote in the coaches poll has gone to a few heads around here.

Never underestimate a traditional rival...

Dec. 2, 2006: One year after the heartbreaking loss to Texas in the Rose Bowl, the No. 2 Trojans returned to Pasadena needing to beat their archrival Bruins to advance to a third straight BCS Championship Game.

How hard could it be? USC won the crosstown rivalry a year earlier, 66-19, and these Bruins were only 6-5. With a brilliant game plan by defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker, UCLA held USC to 55 rushing yards and one touchdown. Curse alert -- the Trojans haven't played for the crystal football since. UCLA 13 USC 9

If you are going to troll, get your facts right anyway. TCU is #7 in the coaches poll. Quit living off of last year.
