winning either game would be huge for this program. We haven't beaten Tech since the death penalty, so that would be a great way to open the season in front of a national TV audience...but how can you rate that any higher than beating our crosstown rival on our home field in front of another national TV audience?

I agree with you on which game is bigger, but what is with all the frog fans claiming they are top 5? Show me a credible poll that says that.

I've long thought one of the bigger wins along TCU's road to relevance was their home w over Tech.

I was just taking the highest ranking we've received thus far (and hopefully by the time we play you it'll be universal)...we're 6/7 in most polls.

Bigger = Probably TCU because of the ranking... but they might lose (doubtful) before they play us like against Oregon State.
Which of the 2 do I want to beat the most of course it's a tie - I want to BEAT BOTH. However, Tech is the first game, it's on the road, and it's a Big 12 team on National TV. What a BIG win that would be right out the gate! We can start with a ton of momentum...

Tech for the reasons mentioned. A TCU win would be partially written off as a rivalry win.

while I want to beat the sand aggies just for 'ol times sake, tcu would be a bigger win ranking AND rivalry wise...

I'd obviously prefer you beat Tech. TCU needs the SOS boost as our slate is fairly weak this year. However, I'd like to add that everbody beats Tech. Houston and Aggie even did it. A win could be written of as Tech adjusting to Tubs, but I think winning in Lubbock is very hard and would be very impressed if SMU pulls it off.

I agree...it's very hard to win in Lubbock but if we did, many will blow it off as Tubs' adjustment period. punks.

It would be really cool for the SMU/TCU matchup to mean something again.

Tech. Please, oh God please beat Tech. I live in Lubbock and can't stand the rabid Tech fans.
