Clayton Williams was one of the all-time cretins on this planet and his comment was one of the most insensitive things ever said by a public figure, so I don't know that I would have used that as a comparison.

But beyond that, you're right. Whining on a message board isn't going to change this situation, whether we like the mustangs or don't like them. The whole reason any of us cares about this is because of how it does or doesn't (barely) relate to the football team.

at least nobody stood up in front of the gray/blue-hairs and no-hairs and cheered.

"My goodness Muffie, did those horses defecate on the field? Why next we'll see people cheering". To repeat, they should save those steaming piles of poo for visits to Lubbock, Ft. Worth and Houston.

Wouldn't there be a health issue? Turf burns and poop? just a thought............
