Parks played in the first half, so the TD wasn't on his first snap.
Our first seven rocks and will keep us in every game this season. When the offense starts producing a little bit, we will pull away and win games.
Yes, we haven't played that well offensively for the first three games of the season, not clicking yet, and very inconsistent.
That said, the last two games we haven't played well on that side of the ball, gave up some fluke TDs (like the first one against UAB and today on the punt), and still kind of managed to slug our way through the games and - get this - won BOTH games by a larger margin of victory than we won any regular season game last season.
While I agree we haven't played very well, that last point is really important to realize. It is proof that the depth and overall talent on this team, especially on the defensive front 7, is good enough to compete for a CUSA championship this season. And next year, when we are two deep with players ready to play on both sides of the ball, watch out.

I was disappointed in Parks's effort. He flat out quit on the play!
