coach doh is a con man

I admit that I don't follow SMU basketball as closely as I should. For those more in the know than I, who exactly would you see replacing Doherty that's as high profile a name, and can coach his @ss off?

Remember, our last 2 coaches didn't do squat either. I guess I figure Doherty has to have something in the tank given what he's done elsewhere, so I am having a hard time trying to come up with who could take us to the next level.

The last 2 coaches did not have back to back 20 plus loss seasons like doh did, and they had tougher schedules. Anyone would be a step up compared to this joker. There is talent on this team; it just needs a real coach. This idea of waiting for the next recruiting class is bs. What happened to the top 25 he supposedly brought in 4 years ago? Wasn't the same thing said back then about waiting for those kids to mature and get coached up?

my prediction would be a change when the contract comes up. There will be no extension.

There are younger guys you can go get (Scott Drew types) that know how to build - its ugly in Basketball but thats why the coach gets paid - to figure out how to maneuver through the basketball recruiting toilet.
