SMU hasn't played their A game yet offensively-like they did in Hawaii. Probably going to need to Saturday

Re: UCF Ranked No. 25
now, i know it wont work out this way but if you look at the USA Today top 10 and you just paired them up, going down....i think each one of those matchups would be really exciting.
Oregon-Aub:
two high scring offenses, poor secondaries, and the cam newton storyline
TCU-Wisc:
two offenses w/ different strengths, grind it out running vs. passing, two very good defenses
Stanford-Ohio St:
Pryor vs. Luck...need I say more?
Mich St - Arkansas:
Arkansas is on a hot streak and Mallet routinely threatens w/ big exciting pass plays, Mich St is a solid grinding team w/o a star but a bunch of very good players...I think Arkansas would win handily bu it has the potential to be a close one if Mich St's D comes to play (the least interesting but somehow i said the most)
Boise St. - Oklahoma:
Man would this be fun...A rematch of the game that got all of this excitement going and opened the door for Utah and TCU to step through for some respect.

What I saw had Arkansas/Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl, and Michigan State on the outside looking in. The Big East and ACC are going to keep some good teams out of the big bowls.

what i presented doesn't take into account what the bowls will choose to do

Re: UCF Ranked No. 25
UCF is only ranked in the coaches' poll. And I'm sorry, but no CUSA team with three losses should ever be ranked unless they have a very high quality win or two. Last season at this time, Houston was barely ranked and they had only two losses, plus a win over a top 10 team. UCF has no business being included in any top 25.
UCF's non conference wins: South Dakota and Buffalo.

I agree with planoponyfan. I had predicted a 6-6 or 7-5 regular season record base on the fact that we had a tougher schedule. We went to a bowl last year and now are playing in the conference championship game this year. We are making strides even if we don't win this Sat. Next year the championship should definitely be in our grasp. Don't get me wrong, I'm not throwing in the towel for this Sat. game.
