The SMU story is a better story than the Marcus Dupree story

Good thing as well!

Check this:

The University of Alabama fired a part-time employee after he played the Steve Miller Band's song "Take the Money and Run" and Dusty Springfield hit "Son of a Preacher Man" before the school's football game against Auburn on Saturday.

Auburn's quarterback Cam Newton, a front-runner for the Heisman trophy, has been the subject of numerous reports that his father, a preacher, solicited payment for his son's QB services when he was being recruited out of a junior college in Texas.

And I'm pulling for Cam.

I mean that's a given..I just can't believe you and ESPN rigged the Heisman the way you did. Well-played

Thank you.

That is true... but it's often not the story you tell, but the way you tell the story. The Dupree film was fantabulous. But just like The U, it doesn't have the major flash point our story has.

We had a challenge to do it justice and I think we did just that. I hope you all will agree.
