Indeed. A disgraceful look for this game. However the purple is involved won't save this look. They sold out for marketing. They should be embarrassed.
A top 5-10 program needs to dress like one. That's not what's going on here.

Uni Watch says: Doesn't really matter either way, since the Horned Frogs are pretty much the ugliest team in the nation no matter what they wear.

Well, apparently they weren't a complete washout in 2010....
Undefeated season: 12-0, Nationally ranked @ #3, Rose Bowl bid, Second BCS bowl
appearance, Big East invite, AQ status, Average attendance: 42,466 (4 sellouts),
New state-of-the-art football stadium, Football recruiting ranking @ #25

Yeah, we understand that because 10 years of commitment will produce those kinds of results. But everything isn't perfect either like your crappy new uniforms. I'm sure the recruits love that business and are all into it. And if you can successfully can sell that to them, terrific.
When does your coaching staff start wearing Members Only Jackets?
Also, why are 2011 games being moved to Farrington Field? I thought your stadium would at least be ready to play games.

This uni is all about the shoe technology. We aren't obligated to wear anything other than the shoes. According to our AD, we will be in purple as the home team. We will look kicka$$ and will kicka$$ despite NickSam and other BCS Conf lovers.
See you guys in the BE in a few years hopefully. Keep filling the Ford and it will happen.

Hey Mitch, generally enjoy your comments. Agree that the new Nike uniforms are (if there were a better word I'd use it) awful. No connection with school. And most Frog fans (over on their forum) agree with you 100%. One correction. No 2011 games scheduled for Farrington Field. The north end zone seats and all the east stadium, plus the ground to field level seats on the west side will all be usable and used. Games to be at ACS as usual, just lower capacity.
