Gonna be a tougher schedule what with picking up Central Florida and Southern Miss. Beat A@M and they then win Big 12. Beat tcu and they don't lose again. Beat Navy and they have another good year. Win em all and SMU is a top 10 or higher and in line for a bcs bowl!. Yea, we are gonna be better but we need to fill some holes and add some depth and get lucky with the injury bug.

that's the blueprint for getting to the upper echelon. Do that, then have a slightly weaker schedule the following year and go 12-0 and there you go

Sounds simpler than it is

Seems to me 36 is about right for the end of next season. Top 25 in 2012.

What are the game dates? What's your source? Does it include other teams' schedules, too?

The dates haven't been released yet but we know those teams will be our opponents based on the fact that we face the 5 other C-USA West teams every season and the sites are just alternated from the previous season, our other 3 opponents from C-USA East are determined by a 2 year cycle, the next of which begins in 2011 and is the same as 2007 (@Memphis, @Southern Miss, vs. UCF).

2012 may be tough since we lose most of the o-line and d-line

Anything less than 5-1 would be a massive disappointment.

Looks like today will be that 1st home loss; put's some pressure on that Rice game if we are going to win 7 games this year
