I have always wondered how do you cheer for a team that is called the horned frogs, wears purple and goes by tarrant county university?

They may have a good football team (and I mean MAY - since today is their first tough opponant) - but they must have been in the back of the line when they drew for school colors, brick color, city location, mascot, and everything else. What a life long curse for those unable to get into UT who have to go there.

I have always said they were SMU and ut wannabes.

I agree. Plus my girlfriend goes to TCU and my brother just graduated. My brother is out at the Rose Bowl and said everywhere he goes people say the TCU fans are way cooler than the Wisconsin fans.

I would think that Wisconsin's degree of cool would be a pretty low bar......

So your brother gets to go to the Rose Bowl but you don't get to go to the Hawaii Bowl? You got screwed.

Madison is a fun town...and Wisco is an excellent University...right there with UT...

However, I like to tell my wife (from LR) when she makes fun of wisconsin, that it is the Arkansas of the midwest...

I want Wisco to crush them, but Vegas isn't wrong very often...we will see...

I think he established on another thread that he doesn't even go to SMU home games, including the one his name refers to. Sounds like he needs to step up if he wants equal billing.

What good does a TCU win do for SMU? Nada. They're going to a BCS Conference. I want the Badgers to win big!

The thought that TCU success helps SMU is so flawed. They have been solid winners for over 10 years now and I would like to hear how it helped SMU???? All it does is give them more leverage with players we need!


By the way Trojan fan, would you pull for UCLA in the Rose Bowl?
