I'll be asking for a letter from Steve guaranteeing no black jerseys before I Pony Up with a Mustang Club donation this year. No letter, no money.
These guys don't understand loyalty or tradition, so I'm going to hit them with the only thing they seem to understand -- money.

I'll rather have black unis than honor our tradition of losing.

When I first saw this I thought that the blues' would get their panties in a wad. So if June has a really great speech before he redesigns the helmet and unis, everyone is fine with that?
......as long as he stays within the schools blue and red?

I wonder what our helmets would look like if we combined all of our past design elements into one. And no JJ, that is not a challenge.

The new uniforms haven't been released, but I've heard we have dropped adidas in favor of
these guys.

Absolutely. As recently as two years ago we has well established traditions of losing, stopping practice before most other teams due to a lack of a bowl, and poor recruiting.
I, for one, am glad to see that we're changing some traditions. Now I'd like to work on changing our traditions of poor attendance and losing to Big 12 teams to open the season.

Aren't you confusing tradition with repeat performance? I'm not for adding new colors permanently but what about changing it up a bit based on tradition. Isn't that what the clip was about? I would love to see a positive change based on SMU pride. Would everyone [deleted] about that as well or is the same old same old comfortable?
