I know I can get one in the closet up there, and save a few bucks. Think it's called the corridor

Get the corridor and you can hang at my end. Always room in the back.

I called a few weeks ago to order away Texas A&M Tickets and who ever answered the phone told me to just "call back in a month." I thought it was unreal they didn't just want to take my money and tell me I would find out in August where the tickets were at in the Aggie Stadium when I get my season tickets. I mean it is not like they are going to tell me where they are at in a month either...I asked how season ticket sales are going, and the indication I got is they are not really exceeding last year at this time. If true, we really need to try another marketing approach. We have got to improve ticket sales in the very near future.

That's really hard to do without a marketing group in our athletic department.

Diligently receive and make calls. Ask for more . Could I offer you two end zone seats for your friends or charity for a mere $72 per seat.

May I offer you the opportunity now sir to get on the waiting list for x x x.

I want to personally thank you for your support and tell you how very important you are to the life of this program !

Some our naturals others should not man the phones .

Marketing now includes social media - twitter/facebook (which I think they do a decent job at). Ads in DMN, Ads on Billboards on 75 next to SMU, TV commercials, Street Post Signs, Giveaways / Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders on the Blvd, Autograph signings, ticket giveaways on Radio (TCU game). Kids night - free shirts or SMU footballs to the 1st 500 kids. The football schedule on the back of the Video board (which they used to have), Large banners on the side of the 75 buildings during football season. Market to all youth sports associations and churches in Dallas.

If they aren't going to hire for SMU, then I think a Mustang Club Marketing person has to be in place, sponsored by donors. It's catch 22, how are you going to have more sales if you don't spend on sales/marketing??
