The real question is when will the good beers follow suit? I kind of miss the days of PBR and Schlitz and for those from the Mid-Atlantic, Natty Bo! The next gimmick will be a bottle where as you drink it, a chick loses her clothing. As they say in Sports Illustrated, another sign that the apocolypse is upon us.

Once I have a buzz I can drink PBR at $2. A can over at oz's but really that first tang on the senses makes a memory ..

Reminds me of summer road trips as a kid..Illinois & Missouri always had places w/ neon signs not of bud or coors, but stag, falstaff and hamms

The new Heineken commercial is a slam on the "gimmicks" of other beers.

They have to do that because their beer really, really sucks.

Heineken is better than most of the gimmick beers. Coors Light needs ice train commercials and blue indicators. haaa

It sucks slightly less.

Other than maybe after mowing a lawn on an August afternoon, I will never understand why anyone would drink a weak-ass beer when there's so much authentic craft beer out there. Same reason, I guess, people put bulldogs playing poker on the wall of the living room.
