I guess you forgot that Houston has year in and your out finished ahead of you in Basketball, until..ironically...Dickey's first year last year where we didn't have a single scholarship recruit on the court (still beat you at your place too).

We also won CUSA in basketball in 2010. How many CUSA titles in Football/Basketball does SMU have? How many Football Championship appearances?

I don't know what the deletes were but as west champions were played UCF the east champions in the CUSA championship game last year. Just an FYI, not trying to be condescending.

This is coming from an extremely reputable source that I heard speak on the topic of Big XII expansion.

Not if we're Tier 1. Our academics have been atrocious but they are getting better.

Our president has been in courting UT for the past 2 years. I think she is the difference. As well as our AD meeting with Dodds often.

But I would agree with your first sentence. I would never thought UT wants us for anything. They hate us. Or so I thought.

Actually, UCF averaged over 32 points a game last year, and we held them to their second lowest total of the year...defense was pretty good, offense was pathetically anemic. Can you help me out? I can't find Houston anywhere on the page...maybe you can?

If you want to talk mess, you have to pull the right strings. Don't go after us for losing to a better team in the first championship game we've been in since Reagan was president. You need to go after us for a horrifically pathetic bowl game in which we couldn't even score 17 points on a terrible, slow, nonathletic, much less talented Army team...we...lost...to...ARMY. WE ONLY SCORED 14 POINTS ON ARMY. Much better line of attack.

I was talking about Houston - not SMU...

I didn't have to drink myself to death watching our high school defense and David Piland throw 6 picks in a game.

Because that's what Houston was the entire month of November. We entered the month in control of the West and had UCF and Tulsa at home. Then the above happened. Then we went 0-4 and out of a bowl game.

I was thanking you for taking our place in Orlando. Because all Piland would have done was throw to Central Florida safeties and all UCF done was score on every single possession they had...just like they did in November.

It was the recipe for insanity.

I'm not sure that it's a good idea to say any school will or won't end up in a conference. Things that look delusional on the surface may be very strategic in nature. This is going to be a bumby ride.
