Play started by Elliott digging the ball out in our defensive zone and getting it out to Redman who got it to midfield and fed Baum.

Great awareness from Clarke as well. She wanted the ball from Redman out to the left, but once she realized Redman was going to the middle with the ball Clarke held her onside position and crashed the net as soon as Baum took the shot.

Not sure who it was but after a cheeky backheel from Scovill somebody was taken down inside the 18 while attempting a shot.

SMU really pressed at the end and had some great chances but to no avail. Certainly one that should be filed as a bad loss - the kind we don't need if we have any dreams of making the tournament this season.

SMU was in control for the majority of the 90 minutes, but Arkansas was able to capitalize on a couple of our mistakes.

I'm sure people don't want to hear this, but we really looked pretty good. A bit more polished finishing in the final third and we win this one easily.

On the bright side, Eidson did pick up a pretty nice yellow late!

The keepers were wearing the gray shirts, although Bodden on the sideline looked to be in gray shorts and black socks while Webb was in black shorts and black socks like last season. Definitely something to be monitored.

Of course, it would be nice if they would wear the green keeper kits more often. Those are the best!

Sounds like we're really thin in the midfield. We're going to need huge seasons from Baum and Clark.
