Scout lists him as a verbal. I saw the kid on the elite 11 show. Very surprising player. Would be a good commit.

ESPN has him listed as the #1 recruit in Arkansas, ahead of 4 UA commits. Only QB in top 15.

This will be a great offense with Burcham at QB, Robert Lewis at RB and Gabriel Marks at WR.

Four-star QB Neal Burcham (Greenbrier, Ark.) will suit up for June Jones and SMU, Scout.com reports.
Burcham also had offers from Arkansas State and Cincinnati. He completed 206 of 342 attempts (60.2-percent) for 2,990 yards, 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions as a junior.
The 6-2, 185-pounder also excels on the basketball court.
