Guess that's what it comes down to. Benefit of the doubt given here.

Was this game a reality check on what we really have as a team?

Maybe for some. For me it confirmed what I thought before the season. Some around here were talking Liberty Bowl or BCS buster before the season, though...that was always just wishful thinking.

I still see 7 wins.

It's inconclusive. It really is. I had hoped for a statement and we just flat out didn't get one either way. Happy for the win.

By the way, I don't think we get one next week either unless we just absolutely stomp the Demons.

I agree. Been through team building courses myself.

5, unless things start improving and everyone starts adopting that fire that JG displayed (Northwestern St, Memphis, Tulane, and Rice are the other wins, although I would LOVE to see a TCU [deleted] whoopin'). Bottom line: tough schedule and the team doesn't have an identity really ... we don't have that champion culture/mindset yet. At home at UCF will be a big test. Don't see us winning at Tulsa (maybe), Houston, or Southern Miss and for some reason the academies always give us problems. But I'll be watching every game and rooting hard for them all to be Ws!

Sooooooo, we will be marginal again this year? Back to the Armed Forces Bowl, or maybe the RL Carriers NO Bowl...sounds like progress.....

6, if we're lucky. Forget all road games, except memphis. Lose 1 home game, UCF = 6-6. Hawaii Bound or stay at home.

6 wins and back to the Hawaii Bowl (where we will likely be creamed). 2nd losing season of the Jones era.

I'm saying 6 and we will have a tough time on all road games. Need to show a lot more than we've shown so far!

I will remain confident these guys can go 7-5 and continue to improve as the year goes on
