How good is Taylor Thompson?

In the 3/4 defense Hunt and Frazier are also drawing doubles on most plays. Because this defense is designed for the line backers to make all the tackles it is difficult for Thompson, Frazier and Hunt to make many tackles and get sacks. I was relegated to listening to the radio broadcast for the last 2 games and Hunt's name was mentioned only on the blocked kicks and I heard Frazier and Thompson's name no more than 3 times in either game. At the same time the announcers, particularly in the second half of the UTEP game, constantly mentioned excellent defensive pressure. It is tough to really appreciate their effectiveness.
Also in the UTEP game it looked as if Hunt and to a lesser extent Thompson were being used on loop stunts, often Davis would be standing over the guard and at the snap Hunt would push the tackle down into the guard and allow JG to loop around the corner I saw them work it with Hunt and Frazier from the Nose
