Stripes or no stripes, I'm indifferent. Our away set is still one of the sharpest looking unis in college fb.
And there's no black involved.

I like the clean look of the solid white pants. It highligihts the the red numerals and the mustang on the helmut more.

If we're going to go with the 'clean' pant look, perhaps we can finally get rid of those stupid overkill of stripes, stripes, & more stripes on the shoulders. Then you can talk about a clean sharp look.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Thought Memphis' uniforms were tacky---especially their pants.

This would look great. Red numbers and no other striping.

Also, for all you uniform gurus, Memphis was wearing some sweet Nike outfits...

A. Can't stand anything by Nike.

B. Their pants, with "MEMPHIS" written up the side of the leg, looked very "2A high school." Then again, so did their team!
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."

I would guess around 225 SMU fans in Memphis yesterday. Take away the folks that attended from the surrounding area, and players families, and it was the usual roadcrew. Could be wrong, but I can't remember the pants being mentioned once. Pony Up!

Yep, things turned out much better that year with our outstanding record and stellar QB play for a stretch of 17 games.
