Then we can change the Blue in the Texas Flag to Black. How COOL would that be? I think it would be the AWESOMEST

Especially when the uni's since June arrived have been superb!!! One minor thing... this year's uniform has changed slightly. The numbers on the shoulder pads are smaller and instead of the pony logo on the collar, now it's the Addidas logo. I don't like these subtle changes. As well as the all white pants...

Texas idea is interesting (the greatest state and flag in America) but with both Dallas since its founding being set on being a (inter)national city, and 50% of SMU students being from out of state, the over emphasis of the Texas Flag would seem a little odd. Would make more sense for a state school. Have not seen much of an explicitly Texas theme here at SMU, at most we get sort of a southwest theme in a few places at SMU.

Maryland's uniforms are interesting in that they at least try some very new things (unlike our poorly made black uniforms that only succeeded in being the color black). The half yellow-black and half red-white helmet is certainly something new.

We could do a two print helmet with one half being all white with a single mustang and the other half being a print of mustangs on blue. It would catches people's attention at the very least. Here is an example if we wanted to drink the Maryland kool-aid:

(half helmet with red mini-mustangs on blue, the other half one single mustang on white). But we still haven't even done a proper black uniform. Matt black helmets would be a nice touch, with a richer blue and red on black uniform.

Why Texas? That's too generalized. Go with the City of Dallas logo on the helmet, much more local:

They'll probably wear leis to honor TCU's renovated stadium. Shaka!

Am I missing something? Where has there ever been any indication that we'll be wearing a special/alternate jersey this weekend?

I'd like to see something different, as long as it's blue or ALL black.

That being said, I don't expect anything different than our standard away jerseys
