TCU accepts Big 12 Invite

Look, from a pride and rivalry perspective, this stings. But I actually view this as a good thing for us. TCU has shown it can be done. I hope they succeed in the Big-12 and show the world that a smaller private can compete and win with the big boys. Realignment is FAR from over. We'll be there when its all said and done.

Oh, I'm not giving up...just getting the knee jerk furious anger at past decisions and administrators off my chest. The sun will rise tomorrow, but the next 24 hours will suck. Just reading five minutes of twitter posts from sportswriters makes me want to climb a clock tower. Every single thought would be the exact same if you swapped TC for SM, but we decided to [deleted] away an entire decade and a half.

So, rant over, let's be constructive about where to go from here.

I just have a feeling we may end up somewhere not as good for the gate at big 12, but better for us to get back to BCS games...

Does anyone really believe that TCU year in and year out can go 3-o when they play OSU, oklahom and UT...

They have sniffed their last BCS game...The dont have the ability to get to USC or Miami, they just cant do it in cow town....

There is one place in texas that can carry a rep like those private schools and thats us...

I know but this will have recruiting implications now as well as possibly us not getting invited to the Big 12. Our only shot now maybe if Missouri leaves the Big 12 then that would open up a slot for us possibly. The Big 12 is better for our recruiting that the Big East.
