This board is quickly turning into Aggies.com where every thread is about how much they hate UT. When do we get to talk about the upcoming game against UCF?

I'm fine with that IF they could turn it into an AQ conference. Damnit, West Virginia, Louisville, South Florida, and maybe Cincy need to realize they can either play basketball with Seton Hall and Georgetown, OR they can have a quality football conference, but they can't have both.

I HATE making up new conferences, but this conference - or some variation - makes sense:

BIG SOUTH EAST
West Virginia
Louisville
South Florida
Central Florida
Memphis
East Carolina

BIG SOUTH WEST
SMU
Houston
Tulsa
Tulane
Southern Mississippi
Rice

CUSA is fine, but it's got to have a few more quality teams and a BCS qualifier.

Alright what happens if the BE implodes? Does that force ND to join a conference? If so that could trigger the last round of expansion. Things could start moving even faster than expected.

People keep forgetting the men behind the curtain - the private, Northeastern based ambivalent-about-football Catholic schools who created the Big East. The Big East as a conference will not implode, because those schools own the name and will keep a very healthy basketball conference going, even if it becomes the 'Catholic Conference' everybody talks about. Therefore, ND will always have a home.

What could set it all off again, however, is if the Big 10 decides the 14 school format works and could work for them and find two more schools. That, or the Big XII actually goes back to XII.

CUSA is fine without ECU and UCF actually. We go to 10 schools and keep it there. West is the same group and east is not great but okay. We might if we feel like it add NMSU and La. Tech. to round out to 12, but no requirement there. Right now, we're in a good place until UH leaves.

I like the stamp, that makes your position as official czar look official.
