Sorry, I've been partying.

The BCS, I believe, would take another conference if it included not only a mediocre conference but also BCS worthy members of a disbanded BCS conference.

West Virginia, for example, has been a BCS contender for a few years now. South Florida is right on the cusp and may find themselves there this year. Cincinnati has been there before with an undefeated team, and Louisville was on the verge of crashing the national championship game about five years ago. You take those four schools and put them in CUSA, which would actually add some depth, such as UCF, Houston, SMU, and ECU, and the BCS, I believe, would not have too much of a problem accepting a new conference into its membership.

But I could be wrong.

And a conference like that is a heck of a lot better than the ACC and the Pac 12 in football.

I've always felt that SMU should be pro-active in trying to assemble a new league with the best of CUSA, best of MWC and BE leftovers. There is the possibility of BCS exclusion, but once you form that league I think it would be very difficult not to give it AQ BCS status....

Keep winning and we will eventually rise to the top!

Our engineers don't know the fundamentals of this fight.
