this just goes to show how stupid A&M were for leaving the Big 12. UT gets another national Broadcast for huge money and exposure for their brand and the Aggies will be lucky to be the SEC national game 1 or 2 a season.

I still think the Aggies made a great move. UT-ND only helps UTs fan base. It will not increase UT's Texas recruits and minimally affect any national recruits. It may help ND with Texas recruits and the ND traditions and heritage could affect UT’s recruiting.

Yeah, UT actually replaced A&M with a program that has a huge national following. I wouldn't be at all shocked to see a UT vs. ND game blow away the ratings of an A&M vs. UT game simply because of a larger national presence in ND.

A&M will make slightly more money in the SEC compaired to what it made in the Big 12 they inhabited for a while. However after year after year of 6-6 seasons we will see. Also Ut will now make even more money than they did before thanks to A&M leaving.

The UT v ND game sounds very exciting. Nothing like a 7-5 Texas v 7-6 Notre Dame to glue every football fan in the country to their TV sets and iPhones !

great move by UT. also increases their BCS visibility late in the season to compensate for the Big12 perhaps continuing not to have a championship game. The only logical response by A&M and the SEC would be to invite another Texas team, specifically one in the Metroplex. Assuming TCU is off the table...

I would rather see A&M-South Carolina Thanksgiving game. You could have all kinds of fun with each team's mascot name.
