Way under 20,000. The SMU crowd is a hot subject right now on Rival's message boards, especially the ECU crowd that seems to have an infatuation everytime the word SMU is mentioned.

we had a much better crowd for Northwestern State. Must have been the 2pm start time. there was no good time to kickoff today though with the Rangers playing tonight.

You could tell on the Boulevard that the crowd wasn't going to match either of the first two home games.

i wish people here cared about playing UCF but like i said two weeks ago, only the diehard college football fans and people on this board have any clue who UCF is. thats gonna take awhile to change. thats not to blame it on UCF, but if we play an opponent nobody in Dallas knows on a non parents/homecoming weekend, it was gonna be ugly. very unfortunate and also poor that we couldnt do better after TCU.

after many years of watching this-you can expect a particularly disappointing crowd on a particularly beautiful Fall Day.

yep, saw it coming. 2pm start time. UT was on TV at the same time. Rangers tonight. UCF is relative unknown. And the weather was great but not exactly football inspiring weather. Direct sun on metal bleachers turns 88 degrees into feeling like 100+.

I don't disagree, but I lay the blame on the Rangers. I know several people that skipped or left early for this specific reason.
