Its a picture that's shows the real emotion between a OL ( Turner) and his RB after a TD that was setup by Kelly Turners pull and lead block for Zach Line. DMN doesn't have some conspiracy against SMU by choosing pics that show badly for SMU.

ok great. Why not Der'rick Thompson streaking down the west sideline with the SMU bench and fans going crazy in the background if you want raw emotion? the guys hugging picture is just goofy, not to mention the background of it which just happens to make us look just about as bad as possible. might be totally arbitrary, but its still dumb.

Thanks for taking something positive and sharting on it. I didn't even notice the stands in the background until you brought it up. And it WAS empty in there.
Quit being so miserable. Try being happy. If that doesn't work. Try drinking.

DMN coverage was great today.
Loved the breakdown of our past winning streaks, too. Learned some new stuff.
Some people are just wired to complain.

You people have not yet figured it out, have you? The DMN is owned by the BEVO Corporation!

You'd have to be blind not to notice it. it was the focal point of the picture, right above 'the fold'. This type of stuff is Mass Media 101 and matters perception wise. Is me bringing it up really the problem? Most people who see that picture will assume the ENTIRE stadium looked like that, which it did not. Apparently you're the negative/miserable one, I am saying that this photo made us look WORSE than it actually was and did not need to be used.

Every photo I took yesterday from the east side looking at the west side of the stadium looked like [Gary Patterson]. That side of the player is in shadow with a lot of light coming from behind. Never makes a good photo. That DMN photographer probably never ventured over to the other side because he knew that was the case.
I'd love to know what you do for a living, watch you do it for a few hours, then come on a forum and critique the product of your work. Give the DMN and the photographer a break. Be happy we got front page publicity.

There's no conspiracy here. It's simply where the sun was located when the game was played. Even during the game I noticed there were hardly any photographers on the other side of the field. It's a very positive time for SMU, please quit looking for every little slight and piece of coverage that is less than perfect. It's tiring to those of us who are enjoying this.

I believe he's a professional complainer, and he's very, very good at it.

in 4 hours they couldn't get a shot from the North goalpost or Northeast corner back toward the South? Or something that was more of a close up rather than that exact panorama? Yeah right. I actually subscribe to the DMN, you don't subscribe to my work but critique me anytime, you obviously don't hesitate to get personal. Did i direct the original comment to YOU? thats what i thought.
