I think it is easily the place where the Big East would get the best fan support. It seems like a no brainer unless you are going to have the game at the home of the team with the highest winning %.

I would GLADLY travel to NYC for a Mustang football game. I would be even more excited for the Big East tournament in Madison Square Garden!

when I lived in Philly I went to a game versus Dallas at 5 degrees. it's was the coldest game I ever went to. but it was fun. you rebels might have to ask us Yankees how to dress for a cold game.
super bowl 2014 is at brand new giants stadium. also Yankee stadium host a bowl game in late december, which when we are in the BE might qualify to attend.
http://web.pinstripebowl.com/indexLook, this is NYC, you will not be bored. you can run down to atlantic city (direct train) and gamble.
your wives (or whoever) might demand to go. also you got enough of us in the NYC area to give you guys (gals) all the places to go to and things to do.
madison square garden usually host the BE basketball playoffs.
I am so ready for smu to enter the BE.

they'd be lucky to get 15,000 to that game. Someone needs to come to their senses-otherwise one day they are going to look pretty stupid. CUSA has the preferrable set up for such a distant conference

No one attends the ACC championship game either, compared to the BigXII or SEC game.
It's all about generating TV eyeballs and media chatter.
Game in Yankee Stadium would do that.

tough choice...lots of media coverage in NYC vs. lots of fans at the homeof the best record.
I think they fear a Big east title game that takes place in Boise or Colorado!!

Probably because the Bears played there for several decades. The Big 10 had an issue with that brick wall. The bears used to hang padding like we used to see in high school gyms to lessen the blow. I think a few people suffered concussions but hey. Its football.

wasn't everyone complaining that the endzones had no space beyond the endline?

Yes, they turned it into a one-way field. Every drive ended near the dugout because there was open space.
