big east better move quick. if mizzou goes, and B12 acts fast like they did w/ TCU, the BE may not be as attractive to SMU, Houston, Boise.

Some comments...
I was hoping for Mizzou to the SEC but reading between the lines, I have to say it is looking like it isn't going to happen...at least with the SEC. But, it sounds like they are still open to a new conference by advertising their willingness to host these events. A shout out to the B1G?
Oh my
Read between the lines.... Boards approved promotion of a basketball tournament in KC and a Football game in Arrowhead..... those that would be lost on Conference realignment

Isn't kansas mizzou one of the oldest ncaa rivalries? man, this stuff is such a joke.
Working in DC, I never thought I'd say this...but Congress really does need to get involved here and get this under control. Fear, defensive moves...if AD's and school presidents didn't have this fear of being "left out" of the BCS, none of this would be happening.

no, they have no business in this. or anything else for that matter. they need to stick to figuring out how to keep our country from becoming greece.

why can't they still play a basketball tourney in KC? A 4 team holiday classic might be what they mean, not a conference championship tournament. Same with football at Arrowhead, might just mean a high profile non-conference game, or an annual game vs Kansas, as opposed to any conferecne champ game. The big 12 doesnt even have 12 schools so why would they be referring to a conference football champ game!??

Yes. Most played 1-A game in history, if I'm not mistaken. But, Nebraska-KU was number 3 all time on that list too.
Stupidest one of all was 15 years ago when Oklahoma said I don't think we need to play Nebraska every year anymore and ran away with their tail between their legs. If that hadn't happened, NU would probably still be in the Big 12 today. So really, this is all Oklahoma's fault. And Notre Dame's.

I do not believe that BE Commish and school presidents didn't see this coming or have a plan in place. They have to know that WVU and or LV will leave for Big 12...so what are they prepared to do about it?
