I could be very wrong here because rules change so often but I have not seen anything in college that goes to the extremes of protecting the QB the same as with the NFL. I am also pretty sure, although I would need a replay, that JJM was moving towards the man with the ball. I do realize my opinion is based on the way we were taught when I played and things have changed a lot over the past 100 years. But right or wrong, I still say it is best to always keep your head on a swivel in a situation like that.

Sounds like Tennison pulled a Tom Brady on Drew Bledsoe type move. Much like D Thompson has done to K Holman.

No way, man, McDermott wasn't even close to the play. That UCF guy just took his shot at the end of the game.
