The loss hurts. So take a step back and avoid the knee jerk reactions.
We have a good team with exploitable flaws. Hopefully they will pock themselves up after this loss and work on their weaknesses.
On the flip side, we have done very well up to this point in the season, and we are still poised to have one of the best seasons post DP. Things continue to improve.
Hopefully our guys give it a bit more effort next week.

Just watched it on DVR. They had a bad night, but so did OU and Wisconsin. Hopefully, they will be hungry next week at Tulsa. I hope they dismantle Tulsa, Tulane, and Navy. Hopefully we will go to Houston with 3 wins behind us.

While at the Marina Pub, I mentioned this. It had seemed to me after the ecu game last year, that the team had learned how to win a close game. last night, the guys looked mostly flat. The o-line had a tough go, and Acker kept getting burned. The game was very hard hitting, and close. We know what happened. Now, I hope the team learns, and uses it to motivate them onward. They are a good team, and so much better than where we have been in the recent past.

It sure doesn't help playing a whole game without DJ, and then having Thompson go out.
