Any of the remaining games is loseable and any are winnable. Look at what happened with TT and OU. Chances are that we will probably win at least two more.

9-3 with a loss to either Tulsa or Houston but not both.

Hoping for 10-2, think 9-3 is possible. 8-4 is still a big step in right direction given how much more difficult our schedule is this year vs last.

I agree. Coming into the year we all thought that this schedule was damn tough - TAMU, TCU, USM, Tulsa, UH all on the road!! That is brutal. Former CUSA champ UCF at home, with only one real cupcake on the schedule.

Tulane and Rice are must-wins though if we think this program has finally risen up. Tulsa and Navy will be hard-fought games that will come down to execution and turnovers. UH will be very tough on our secondary.

Beat Tulsa.

Not sure where the comments about "porous D" are coming from. With the exception of A&M and 1 quarter of the TCU game, SMU's defense has been really good this season. And even in the A&M game you can chalk up three Aggie TDs to the SMU offense and special teams giving them a short field and putting our D in a really tough spot. USM was blowing people out, but our D stymied them for most of the game.

Is our D good enough to stop Houston? Probably not. But don't sell these guys short. . .they could surprise you. D has NOT been SMU's problem this year; its been a strength.

10-2 season, championship and bowl win for a top 25 end of season ranking at 12-2

8-4 and a Hawaii Bowl win (I want us in the Hawaii Bowl so I can go to Hawaii). I would be very happy with those results (and foresee that win-loss record to be the worst we'll have over next 5 years!). USM and UH are very strong teams this year so we won't win CUSA ... next year, though, will be a different story.

9-3 with trip to Hawaii Bowl. Loss if we have to play Hawaii. Win and very good 10-3 record if we play anyone else in the Aloha State!

We're a much better team than Hawaii. Like their QB though.

This team looks 8-4. Houston to CUSA championship. And we'll go to Hawaii for the bowl.

I don't know about that, Hawaii's o-line, defense and special teams are awful plus they've been blown out the last 2 times they've played in the Hawaii Bowl.

I stated earlier that a realistic goal for this team was 8-4 in regular season, and I still think we are on track for that.
