The season over?-we'll be favored to go 8-4 which would be our best record in 26 years

We're 5-3, not 0-8, 3 our last 4 are at home against teams with a combined 6-19 record. We're not that good but our season isn't over.

You mean 3 out of the last 4 are at home..Houston is down there and they are 8-0 so your numbers don't jive...

Oh yeah, yank them out and the numbers are fine.

One loss to UH and the Navy game is always a tough one..Tulane is a win, but Rice may be more than we think. Tulsa is in the bottom of the 100 in ranked defenses (112 out of 120 in passing defense?), so we could be 7-5 or 6-6 which makes it tougher to get to a bowl, even though 6 wins makes one bowl eligible.

We get to 6 wins, Hawaii gets to 7 wins and we'll meet in the Hawaii Bowl. If Hawaii can't get bowl eligible then things could interesting.

Good point...then what happens if Hawaii cant get bowl eligible? Actually they are 5-3 as of today and they still have 5 more games to play, so they will be bowl eligible.....with 13 games you have to be able to win 7 games...

Actually they have to win 7 since they play 13 but it seems they should be fine, if they're not then our appeal to bowls dries up. We need to hope that C-USA can't fill it's bowl allotment or has just enough teams to fill the allotment because we could easily be the odd man out if they have more.

If you think we win ANY of our remaining games playing like we did today, you're smoking something serious. We don't beat anyone outside of maybe Memphis with the [deleted] we threw out there today. Everyone on the field -- coaches and players -- should be completely embarrassed and ashamed at that pathetic, lackluster performance. Changes need to be made, and quickly... and I'm sure they will be. Unfortunately, we have no answer at QB this year. They aren't burning Preston's readshirt, and Kaiser has a big bag of nothing. The season is done. This year, take solace in the fact that we're going to the Big East and hope we can hold onto as many of the 2012 recruits as we can.

If I'm Kaiser, I am packing my backs. A guy throws 4 picks, completes less than 50% of his passes and makes terrible decisions (I couldn't believe the backward pass as he was being sacked --- a senior no less) and Jones doesn't make a switch? Good luck Stephen, mahola my bruddah.

4 picks is an average day for Kaiser in practice.

But none during a game. McD's picks count. Kaiser's don't. So you think McD should have played the whole game? What do we know about the 2 backups? Let them play in the 4th qtr.

Just throw him out there for game experience, or just to get JJ out of the game because he was [deleted] poor today. Nothing like getting benched in a game to make you really think about how you HAVE to get better. And so what if Kaiser had thrown a couple picks. Losing by another touchdown or two might just have pissed them off enough to come back next week and actually play like a team that belongs in an AQ conference.
