Why the hell would we want hawaii or NOLA (Against sun belt???) Ticket City bowl is the best, i mean to play in the Cotton Bowl (SMU's home field back in the day). I mean we will never get to play there in the regular season so why not a chance to play in the post season against a Big 10. That way if we lose big deal, WE ARE GROWING, if we win more reputation to the BE and to us
Does 8-4 still get us to the Ticket City Bowl? I think you're crazy if you don't think that's the best bowl we could possibly play in, in fact, I'd have given up a shot at winning conference and playing in the Liberty Bowl for a chance to play a Big 10 team after new years in the Cotton Bowl in a heartbeat. That's precisely the stage we want to be on, as long as we don't get massacred...

If Hawaii isn't bowl eligible then we have a shot at the Ticket City Bowl or the Armed Forces Bowl. The AFB would definitely sell out since we'd be playing BYU.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Agree. Hawaii is for Jones' ego. AFB is to appease us if no where else to go. Ticket City would be a great bowl for us. Hawaii was nice in 2009; don't need a repeat.
