Can you get a RS when your injury is mid season and many of the games you missed were because you were on the bench? besides, June says he will be back after this week.
Go Ponies!! Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad

No,no,no,no,no,. This is how people keep getting bad information although I assume ponyboy knows what he means.
A redshirt is burned with one play. A MEDICAL HARDSHIP (sometimes referred to as a medical redshirt) is what Padron would be seeking. Completely different rules that Stallion has outlined very well. If you are going to use the word redshirt when referring to a medical hardship, please use the word "medical" along with it. There are way too many people that believe you can redshirt someone who has only played a little.
End of lecture. I am calm again.

Best part is JJMcD will be our CUSA QB, KP most likely CUSA so they can finish out their year, hopefully in style. Then We can use Gilbert an experience Big 12 QB to handle Big East teams, and then our recruits to follow and learn. This really helps recruiting as we dont have to focus on getting a QB for awhile with this transfer.
We already have a great QB coming in, Printz (2013). Gilbert is the added protection so that Printz can redshirt and learn the system for a year without us having a terrible season. SMU is moving in the right direction. The move to the BE should also help in adding higher caliber recruits for all positions. If Klemm could convince standout recruits to come here while we are in CUSA, can't wait to see what he can do for us in the BE.
not any more difficult than playing in a non-AQ in Mississippi, Florida, Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma, Louisiana
at least we'll be in Idaho and Colorado (AFA) much closer. and playing recognizable brands that everyone knows because of the East Coast Bias! it's finally on our side!
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Need at least one QB recruit in every class though, and occasionally two. Half of them don't pan out, and the other half get injured. If you recruit that many, and you are lucky, you eventually get an outstanding 2-3 year starter every 10-15 years or so.

Didn't say we were all the way there but headed in the right direction.

Can't depend on Printz ever getting here, can't depend on Padron sticking around, nor can we depend on Gilbert getting more than 1 season. QB recruiting is definitely still an issue.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Wow. At least stand your glass up so if anything gets in it, it will not spill right out.
