where's the option for I can afford to go, i just don't want to mess with holiday plans b/c the game is Christmas eve?

Exactly. But I pay a lot of money (to me) to go to games and have a Boulevard spot. It would be nice to have a bowl game within driving distance. Two years ago, sure -- go crazy with the most visible available bowl, since it had been so long since the last one.

It sure would help if they could release the CUSA Hawaii Bowl team as soon as possible to make arrangements but we'll probably get about 3 weeks to plan-costing us an extra $500 and less desireable travel arrangements

We talked about it last night. She was fine as long as she gets to go. That is one of the last weeks she would be allowed to travel before 3rd and short comes along.

of course she'd fine with it if she gets to go. i didn't think she'd get Dr. Clearance approval to fly for 10 hours.

I got the massive what if you dont make it in time for xmas talk....

i told her i would dress as santa on way back and if i got delayed for any reason I would announce to kids that santa couldn't make it because american airlines cant get their act together at the ticket counter....
