Anyone else planning to hop on that SWA flight? Trying to decide if I should rent a car or split a cab...

I'm flying out at 8pm on saturday but coming in friday and staying the night. Question: Anybody have some direction on which hotels would be closest to the UH campus? I'm not terribly familiar with H-Town.

I believe there are several ladies spaced out on various corners downtown who can personally provide you with accomodations. They will even let you pay by the hour.

Any hotel near UH will have an hourly rate. Best bet is downtown , Hyatt, Magnolia, Hilton, Icon....or you can try the Renaissanse on 59 in the Greenway Plaza area. There are also lots of choices in the Galeria area which is about 15-20 minutes from UH. UH is about halfway between Hobby airport and downtown. I have no idea what rates are like on weekends at these places.

Thanks Moose. Pricing looks pretty decent for that night from all places downtown. I'm kinda leaning towards some place called the Inn @ The Ballpark. Cant go wrong with a baseball theme. Also thinking about the Hyatt Regency. Just anyplace within walking distance to bars.

Also, Jedi are immune to most poisons so the "hourly" ladies won't have any adverse effects on me. But thanks for the heads up!

Anytime Eddie P. The Inn @ the Ballpark is nice. I've not been inside but it should be a good choice. Nice steakhouse (Vic & Anthony's) right downstairs sharing a driveway with the Inn @ The Ballpark. You will be 10 minutes from UH parking.
