I am a JJ fan but after the last 4-5 games I really question his abilities to take us any further.
IMO he just has no flexibility and touch for how to win games.

GO PONIES!!!

JJ ain't gettin' fired. SMU stuck with Bennett for SIX YEARS. Now on the other hand JJ just might leave for greener pastures.

He's not going to be able to take us any further using the below-average talent he's got starting right now. I feel confident that given that we will have much better talent at places like the QB postion in the coming years and we'll continue to move up.

some of you just amaze me. You think Steve O and the C of C give a rats arse what the emotional meltdowners on Ponyfans think about whether JJ should coach this program?

Maybe we should demand the money guys go buy out Nick Saban and bring him to SMU. He's proven he can win wherever he goes. or maybe Urban Meyer? Why should we have to settle for JJ???

I can understand they might have different criteria. However, when the stands have less fans and less season ticket sales then what will they think?

GO PONIES!!!
