yeah, well insane is doing this over and over again. Preston should should have been getting some playing time the past 4 weeks. But fine, give us Kaiser, anybody with a pulse and who is ambulatory.

Don't forget the backward pass when he was in the grasp. Second time this season.
unbelievable. how do you not put Preston in? I am all for preserving redshirts, but you are risking a mutiny putting McD out there at this point. I don't mean the fans, i means the players.
At this point the season is determined. We win rice. Lose a bowl - no matter which one- and finish 7-7
Rice game is no guarantee

Agree....the slowest QB I have seen lately......

If JJMc hits that TD pass to open the 2nd half (instead of throwing the pick at the goal line) it is GAME ON. This season is what it is...fell short of our goals, but still bowl eligible and still have a chance to repeat that 8-5 finish of 2 years ago.
I'm glad you guys who are ready to burn Preston's RS at this point of the season aren't in a position to make that decision

Good question. If he cant play, give the scholarship to someone else.

And, I forgot, our walk on kicker has Mono. Loftus is good at kickoffs, but has he been tested before today, in a game situation on field goals?
Inquiring minds want to know.
You hit it on the head......those with questions should stand up at the lunch and ask.
As Cogil says, be bold be strong.

Expect a transfer in the offseason. He still has plenty of eligibility left.
Expect several transfers.........

Can't blame anyone who wants to get out of this mess.

Dutch, I'm glad you are a cook. Being math challenged isn't a good thing. Pretty hard to finish 7-7 when we have a 12 game schedule and maybe a bowl. 7-6, or 6-7 maybe. No conf championship game for this group. No leadership.

I don't know guys, I think we can just chalk this up to a learning year for McD and nex year he will be much better. Everything is A okay in mustang land.

Throwing this out there. McDermott knows the offense, he has the most experience, and Kaiser may have some issues we dont know about. I think June doesnt want to blow Prestons Red shirt status, and ...here is a thought...namdar is still there and was nailing field goals in warm ups and half time, he is very accurate im suprised he didnt go in

I really don't like knocking players cause I'm sure everyone on the field played as well as they could on this day. However, we are weak in depth at most positions including qb. The only other qb with experience has been hurt all year - probably benched in the first place for reasons unspoken. For Coach Jones' offense to be effective we all know he needs a strong armed, quick release and smart qb with some dodging and running ability. Our best rb is out for the season. ETC. We are seeing this year how thin our depth is. And, unlike others, I don't think you are going to see kids jumping out of this program. I think they love SMU and Coach Jones, etc. Quite frankly, Coach Jones probably gets more out of them then they would give elsewhere. Our future will be determined by our recruiting. We have several qbs committed that should be able to handle this offense. We also have some good receivers committed to compliment them. Our O and D lines have been good. However, we have recruits coming that should be as good or better. Our lbs and dbs should see the same improvement, etc. Lets be a little more patient and understanding that IT SHOULD TAKE FOUR OR FIVE YEARS to get the type of players a coach needs to run his game plan. PONY UP!
