So the ride might get kind of bump over the next 2 or 3 years.
Well right now at #48 on Rivals we would be 5th out of 12 in the new BE if my quick count is correct. So not that far off.

Concerned? Everyone here should be outraged, our esteemed QB guru has absolutely failed in recruiting and developing QBs. Recruiting at WR hasn't been that impressive either.

Hasn't he been on the record multiple times as having a "let them come to me" recruiting method?
That has somewhat changed since Klemm has become recruiting coordinator. I think he actually said that he did not want anybody that did not want to be at SMU.

There are a minority of posters who are calling for June's head. They are morons. No rational person thinks he should be fired. But he definitely deserves to be questioned for the [deleted] poor performance of the offense.

+1
(still say he will leave before end of his contract)
I really find it amusing when guys come on here and point out Hawaii results...that's ancient HISTORY and has limited relevance to all that is going on at SMU in this day and time---so is our acceptance of the past 25 years of football, as that is HISTORY also. We are in a better position now and yes JJ was a common thread and assisted in our emergence, but by no means should we be bowing down and accepting mediocrity now. Things are wrong in that clubhouse and insiders know that as well as us on this board. The last two years SMU started 4-2 in 2010 and 5-1 in 2011 and in 2010 they finished 3-5 and so far they are 1-4 in the second half of the 2011 season and could end up at 1-6 for the last part of the season (maybe its going to be 3-4 or 2-5, which are BOTH losing records). Its apparent that the coaching needs to adjust as the other teams sure have adjusted to SMU's play calling late in the season every year. Scoring the same amount of points as a dead man (0) in the first half of games just won't cut it as it was last year late in the season as well as this year late. We invest in this team with our time and money and have a right to be concerned about the 'background noise' we are hearing from the players, parents, coaches of this team.
I hope it all gets addressed, but accepting the status quo, isn't progress.

Hopefully all make it into school. And you could look back at he last 3 years and that will tell you what we will be playing with going into the Big East. It will be tough to make a bowl game over the next 2 to 3 years. Not impossible but tougher that we have ever experienced so it may not be a smooth enjoyable ride. We'll see.

Fair enough, but part of the job is to convince them to want to be at SMU, no?
(Not really complaining about the recruiting, but it does seem like it could be improved some if he were more aggressive.)
