And the OSU players could go on a tattoo spree after finals.
....Oh wait, they don't suspend OSU players for bowl games. They wait until they get to the NFL.

Until Michigan returns to being Michigan by beating ohio, that all remains to be seen. However, if you've actually seen this years Buckeyes you should know that SMU would have a chance against them. The Game, is in Ann Arbor Saturday. Hopefully, my boys can send Brutus your way. BUT you need somebody to knock UH out of that BCS bowl bid they are probably going to get to lower you to the Ticket City Bowl. There's a real BCMess right now with Auburn, Arkansas and Georgia aiming to make it even cloudier.

I've seen Ohio State a few times this season, they'd beat the [deleted] out of SMU. We'd be dominated at the LOS and Miller would run all over us.

You know Navy went into the Horseshoe I think 2 years ago and almost beat them. It was the first time I ever cheered for Navy and I'd been in the USN like 7 years at that point. ohio would overlook SMU look at how they play against the MAC, sure they win but it's closer than it should be. Trust me I know my enemy. Boom Herron is a beast and ohio SHOULD kill SMU but it doesn't mean they would. I thought Nebraska was gonna jack up Michigan Saturday. Didn't happen. Of course this all depends on stuff nobody has any control over. ohio, talent wise is still MUCH better than Michigan. You guys DO want to play the best in the nation, why wouldn't you want to step up to the plate against the bucks? I mean my team lost to Appalachian State, that never would have happened years ago, why? Because Michigan wouldn't have played Appalachian State when I was growing up, we played a big hitter from the Big 8 or SEC to tune up for the Rose Bowl run.Everybody got caught up in style points and "National Championships" at some point though so we suffered the all time upset because of this. And we'll never, ever live it down.

I don't think our players give a [deleted] about playing the best in the nation, June got this Hawaii idea in their minds and they'll drag [deleted] in any Dallas bowl.

But if Miller goes down, Bauserman is worse than McD. That's how Nebraska beat them.

Ah yes, Joe Bauserman. Big, stiff and inaccurate, the Big 10's version JJ McDermott.

I thought when you typed [deleted] it said Gary Patterson automatically.... Well, Hawaii is a really nice place (been there done that got a marriage liscense that says so) and Bo beat it into our guys about Pasadena. Similar I guess, I know our kids wouldn't be too into going to the Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl in Motown. I guess it's still beaten into me that it was not a successful season if it didn't end with a win over the school down south and a trip to Pasadena. June Jones is working with what he has to work with too, you all have a QB that looks the part of an NFL QB but he's scared to stick a tough throw. You do however have a running back that for all the world reminds me of Toby Gerhardt. You guys can and will win matter of fact you are winning with low ball talent. My actual Alma Mater plays D2 ball and our enrollment is 4k more than SMU... If JJ wouldn't have snagged him he might be a Ferris State Bulldog. And a pretty dang good defense too. June needs to find a way to lock the gates on talent out of the City of Dallas before SMU can be what you expect SMU to be. That and find a fast kid to put at QB. So many times watching SMU I see the QB not get a first down when a running lane is open, it's just silly.

Too many programs recruit out of the Dallas area for us to ever lock it down, not that June and his staff could do it even if they wanted to. They've been recruiting LA better than Dallas.

Would you guys rather have a punch them in the face Big Ten Style Offense? Or a gunslingin' WAC style offense, like you have now? Not that the gates of the City could be locked BUT relationships with local coaches go very, very far. Frank Beamer OWNS the area of Va that I hang my hat in, the Tidewater, where all the talent is. SMU couldn't keep UT, Oklahoma, A+M, MIchigan,USC, ohio and Notre Dame out... But he COULD be the first guy there very easily.

A school like SMU needs a gimmick offense. Just preferably one that wasn't phased out of the sport 20 years ago.
