I agree. Throw in a California school while Jones and Klemm are at SMU to help with recruiting in that area. Possibly schedule Hawaii as a 13th game to please Jones and avoid the Hawaii Bowl!

I told my brother in law he could go get them. Haven't checked with him. But he was in the game so I assume he did.

No point in keeping Rice on the schedule. No one gives a [deleted] about the "rivalry" and their fans don't travel. Makes more sense to get some lower-tier large state schools on the schedule (UTSA, TX State, SFA, SHSU, FUNT).

actually the next one after wake is us. we are right on 6,000.
which is a good point to keep in mind when complaining about student attendence. If 1/3 of UT students show up its 20k fans - that is more students then they have ever had at a game. that would be the same as SMU having 2k at a game and we have done that before

Rice always plays us well. I'd like to keep the rivalry going.
I don't see why people think we are so much better. Results haven't shown that at all...

Have you ever been inside Rice's basketball coliseum? They have banners hung honoring Rice students/graduates for outstanding academic achievements. It's a good reminder of the real purpose of a university.

Since we are going to the Big East we need to throw in a D1AA team for a tune-up game and keep two of those 3 teams you mentioned.
