Its not unusual for a school in SMU's position to lose 4 even 5 top commitments-luckily hasn't happened to SMU to that degree but it has happened to TCU, UH, Tulsa and Southern Miss in recent years. if you are recruiting at a higher level you will lose some. It is a good sign that we are making progress when we lose a couple - sort of like when we start showing up on the police blotter - that means you are getting better athletes.
