really 94 you want to bring the guy who got booted from maybe the best job in college football for cheating to SMU come on and mike stoops sucks as a head coach plus im pretty sure that dude is going to murder some one on the side lines one day
In June's defense, he has won two conference championships. Two names that have done better than June in similar situations are Steve Kragthorpe and Jeff Bower and both are available.

kragthorpe had to step down as LSU off cordinater for medical reasons he cant handle the stress
I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up taking a look at Mike Stoops. He has deep Texas recruiting ties, relatively young, high national profile, first hand experience at Top 10 programs, articulate. I think one problem he had is that he took a job outside his home base. There are bigger names but we'll see if we have much of a shot if we have to start this search so late. He's going to get a Coordinator job with one of the best programs in the Country. He will be a hot prospect again soon
