This is what I'm thinking..... this smells BAD. As an attorney, I would never out this sort of client confidence unless A) it was okay'd by the client and B) there's something in it for my client.

If not - why do this? Fishy.

that was my 1st reaction. Is this another publicity stunt from the Joe Pepitone school of "any publicity ios good publicity"? If so, I'm sure those close to the program...certainly the C of C and possibly players and recruits would have been "briefed" and sworn to secrecy...so they could let the rest of us run wild and get the SMU name "out there" right along with the Big east announcement

If so, it worked because they were talking about this on local sports talk radio in Charleston today...and that just doesn't happen around here.
