Dutch is right, bowls. But you bring up a good point, even mediocrity and no bowls is better than the sheer badness and no bowls that made up the majority of the last thirty years. Glad Jones came and changed that. He still needs tto find a way to leave.

Big East competition may be better, but not that much better.
I think we can make 3 bowls every 28 years in the Big East.

I think it wont be that bad. I think if we can maintain stability keep guys like AK. Find a coach with a good blend of running plays along with pass. We can win a championship. Realize that our West division as it stands could already be better than the east division. Now with SDSU, we always have a guaranteed conference win!

You want us to embrace a coach who hasn't embraced S.M.U. Ain't gonna happen.

Why not? We embraced CUSA.
